Visiting School Groups: TexShare Program

Overview

"TexShare is a cooperative program designed to improve library service to Texans. TexShare focuses on the efficient sharing of library holdings, with an emphasis on electronic information resources and traditional collections of books and journals. The consortium is administered by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission."

TexShare Card

"The TexShare card program is a reciprocal borrowing program. It is designed to allow the registered users of participating institutions to directly borrow materials from the libraries of other participating institutions. Registered users of participating Texas libraries can obtain a TexShare card from their home institution and use the card to borrow materials directly from other participating libraries. Users must be in good standing at the home library and must have demonstrated compliance with the home library's borrowing policies."

Baylor allows TexShare card holders to check out five books.
