Introduction

Welcome to the Baylor Libraries guide to BrowZine! BrowZine is a mobile app for tablets and smart phones, as well as for desktops and laptops, that allows you to access and browse e-journals from different publishers in one simple interface. With BrowZine, you can:

  • Read Scholarly journals in a format that is optimized for tablets.
  • Create a personal bookshelf of favorite journals.
  • Be alerted when new issues of a journal are available.
  • Bookmark articles for reading later.
  • Easily save to Refworks, Zotero, Dropbox, or Mendeley.

Purpose

This guide is for anyone associated with Baylor University who is interested in learning the basics of Browzine. This guide will cover what Browzine is, what it can do, what the benefits are to using it, and how to get started with it.

Audience

ThLamp Postis library guide is part of our “library basics” literacy tier. In this tier you will be introduced to the basics of academic libraries. The lamppost represents the first stage in the development of your research skills and includes things like using information ethically, participating in the scholarly conversation, learning the basics of searching, and learning how to get more help when you need it.
