What is a Microform?
Microforms are any photographic information storage medium of documents used for transmission, storage, reading or reproducing. Microforms require magnification to produce a readable image.
Three formats are common: microfilm (reels), microfiche (flat sheets), and microcards, similar to microfiche, but printed on cardboard rather than photographic film.
