Best resources for background information and research papers on the authors and works covered in this class.

Using the Library for Literary Research

If it's been a while since you've used the Baylor Libraries for research you may want to check out some of the information in the guides and tutorials below to sharpen your skills and be able to quickly and easily know what tools and resources to use for which kind of research you are doing.

Welcome

Welcome to the guide for the British Literature Survey class, ENG 2301. The guide contains some of the most useful resources the Libraries have to help you complete the various assignments for this class: understanding the different texts you will be reading, the time period they were written in, and how to conduct research using the scholarly sources you'll be expected to use for literature, but which you aren't likely to know because your major is a different one.

The links in the box to the left will help you whether your a new student this year or just new to courses which require research papers, close studies of a literary work, or you've never had to plan out a research paper. Please check these links if you have questions about the where something is in the library, how to search for books, or what technology we have that will make your life as a student easier.

My contact information is to the right. Please feel free to use the "Schedule Appointment" button to see the times I am free to meet with you  and to claim that time without having to email back and forth with me. You may also email me if you have a question other than "can you find me articles on X topic."
