THEO 7396 Baptist Identity - Baptist Studies Research Guide: Home

A guide to historical and theological resources for the study of Baptist thought and life.

Welcome to the Baptist Studies Research Guide

This guide is designed to help any researcher of Baptist faith and witness, but especially seminary students in THEO 7396, the Baptist Identity course at Truett Seminary.

Special features include a Baptist Theology tab with themed content pages covering resources relevant to the 17 articles of the Baptist Faith and Message, a Confessional Documents tab linking researchers to online primary source documents as well as print resources available in BU Libraries collections, and an SBC Recent History tab linking users to print resources offering commentary on the events of 1979 to 1994.

The tools available in this guide will provide shortcuts to important historical documents, print works and journal articles relevant to students of Baptist history, theology, ministry, polity and praxis.
