It's natural to want to consult the electronic indexes first. They can cover several years at once, and many of them can filter the results so that only book reviews appear. However, don't give in to the temptation to stop there! It's wise to consult the print indexes as well, especially if you are working with older sources. Looking at the print indexes may require a trip to the library, but it is often well worth your time. Remember--not everything has been computerized!
Be sure to note in the descriptions the years that each index covers. This simple step can save you the frustration of looking for a book review in indexes that could not possibly include it.
