Citation Managers

A citation management program is an electronic application that allows researchers to save bibliographic information from catalog and database searches to an account for later processing and use in bibliographies, footnotes and references in written work.

There are many such programs on the market: Endnote, Refworks, Zotero, etc.

Baylor University Libraries supports two citation management programs: Refworks and Zotero.

Direct Exporting To Refworks

Five of the most commonly used databases in Biblical and Theological studies are provided by EBSCOHost.

EbscoHost is one of several database providers who have an embedded direct export feature. This feature allows Baylor students and faculty to directly export journal citations to the RefWorks citation management tool.
