Computer Science

Introduction

Welcome to your computer science subject guide. This guide contains general information about library services and resources, recommendations for research resources in the computer sciences, STEM research services and citation resources.

Research conducted by the faculty in Baylor's Department of Computer Science falls into at least one of nine major themes:  (a) bioinformatics, (b) competitive learning, (c) cybersecurity and networking, (d) data science, (e) gaming, (f) human-computer interaction, (g) machine learning, (h) software engineering, and (i) VLSI design. The projects undertaken, and the instructional opportunities they inspire, tend to be interdisciplinary in nature, so ECE students at all levels are exposed to a wide variety of perspectives as they explore all aspects of computer science.

Purpose

The purpose of this guide is to provide an overview of the library resources and services available to Baylor faculty, staff, and students interested in this subject area.
