Ebooks: MyiLibrary

An overview of ebooks and ebook collections available at the Baylor University Libraries, including information on downloading ebooks for offline reading.

Downloading MyiLibrary Ebooks

At this time only a portion (maximum of 10 pages) of a MyiLibrary e-book can be downloaded.  It will download as a PDF and will be accessible on any device that has the Adobe Acrobat Reader or similar app installed on it.  To download a file from a MyiLibrary e-book, do the following:

  1. Although a personal MyiLibrary account isn't necessary to download content, with this personal account, you can maintain a "bookshelf" of e-books in which you are interested, keep notes on the MyiLibrary e-books you use, and keep "saved searches" for topics of interest.
  2. Click on the "Download" icon   associated with the e-book you want to download.
  3. Provide the range of pages to download and click the "Download" button.
  4. Once the download is complete, the appropriate software (Adobe Acrobat Reader, for example) or app on your device should prompt you to open and/or save the file.
